The Screening Process: All of our caregivers are interviewed by
several members of our administrative team. Following the interview
process, work references are checked.  A criminal background check
is conducted with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the
Lake County Clerk of Courts. If the caregiver will be driving a client, a
Motor Vehicle Record is obtained through the Florida Department of
Motor Vehicles. An employee must also have a current physical and
TB screening before hire.

The Education Process: All caregivers receive an extensive
orientation to our philosophy and standards of care. This orientation
involves several members of the administrative team. It allows us to
assess the care giver's knowledge of senior care as well as their
communication skills, and the ability to interact well with others.

Caregiver education is ongoing: Each caregiver must complete
twelve hours of continuing education annually. These include self
study packets, workshops on pertinent senior care topics as well as
individual training for the unique needs of the client receiving care.

The Evaluation Process: All caregivers are supervised by a Care
Manger and overseen by our RN Case Manager. She ensures the
caregiver understands the individual Plan of Care for the clients. She
makes supervisory visits to update the Plan of Care and evaluate
quality of care provided. Caregivers are evaluated on an ongoing
basis.

Safety: All of our caregivers are bonded and insured.

Client Testimonial
I enjoy having Candy come see me every week. She drives me in my car to the grocery store and on
Friday to the hair salon. The girls in the office are very thoughtful too. They call to check on me when
my daughter is out of town on they even come by to see how I'm getting along. I'm so glad that I have
this service and so are my daughter! - Marie Schnepper, Tavares
